Robin is sitting at her desk. She is filing her nails, very very slowly to avoid making noise. White dust is collecting faster than a coke addict’s sidetable.
The phone rings.
Robin: HedgeFund Capital
Nancy: IS Brian THERE?!
Robin: He’s currently in a meeting, I can give you his voicemail or you can leave a message with me.
Nancy: This is important. It’s his mother. When will he be back?
Robin: Probably in about twenty minutes. Do you want me to relay a message to him?
Nancy: Yea, okay twenty minutes? You tell him, I’m in the drugstore trying to pick up razors for him…
Robin: Uhm.
Nancy: And I don’t know what kind he likes. Can you have him call me back? Because I can’t buy him a razor unless he tells me what kind he wants. So i’m just going to stay in the drugstore until he gets back okay?
Robin: Right. Sure. Okay.
Robin hangs up. Looks perplexed. Writes on sticky note: Brian, your mother wants to know what razor to buy you she’s in the drugstore now.
Brian returns from the meeting.
Robin: Uh, your mom called.
Brian: Great. What’d she want.
Robin: She wants to know, what kind of razor you use?
Brian: Ugh mom!
Brian picks up his phone
Brian: Ma! Gilette. How many times do I have to tell you, gillette…. no not those ones… it’s blue and black, and it has like this curved bit with stripes… c’mon Ma… no not that one… it’s like dark blue…
